A young American woman moves with her husband to Bucharest, and begins to suspect that a stranger who watches her from the apartment building across the street may be a local serial killer decapitating women.
 
The film can be a bit slow at times and the level of suspense that builds is unusually quiet considering how good the movie ends.  
 
FUN FACT:  Julia goes to see Charade (1963) at the cinema. This is the same movie that Jay (also played by Maika Monroe) goes to see with Greg at the beginning of It Follows (2014).
