On the cusp of his 30th birthday, a promising young theater composer navigates love, friendship and the pressures of life as an artist in New York City.
 
This entire film is just so emotional & inspiring.  I really don't know what I enjoyed more, all the music or Andrew's performance and it'll be a debate I'll have with myself for years to come.
 
FUN FACT:  After deciding on Andrew Garfield for the lead role, but not knowing if he could sing, Lin-Manuel Miranda asked a mutual friend, massage therapist Gregg Miele, if Garfield could sing. Miele replied that Andrew had "the voice of an angel." After Miranda left, Miele called Garfield and asked if he could sing.  In the end, Andrew Garfield learned how to sing for the film, dedicating a year to training his voice.
