A world-weary detective is hired to investigate the murder of a West Point cadet. Stymied by the cadets' code of silence, he enlists one of their own to help unravel the case - a young man the world would come to know as Edgar Allan Poe.
A bit slow in parts, but the overall mystery makes up for them. Not to mention, the performances are exceptional and if that wasn't enough...Bobby D. is in it.
FUN FACT: Although the film is set in the USA and the characters are American, most of the cast is British.
