The Cincinnati Kid (1965)

An up-and-coming poker player tries to prove himself in a high-stakes match against a long-time master of the game.

Over the years, most of the poker/card movies that have been made get lost in the shuffle, but this one is a classic and has stood the test of time.

FUN FACT:  In the film's opening scene, the gentlemen who's heading the Olympia Brass Band - Harold "Duke" Dejan - is (as are the other members, real members of the band) was also featured in the film Live and Let Die (1973).
