A young girl discovers a secret map to the dreamworld of Slumberland, and with the help of an eccentric outlaw, she traverses dreams and flees nightmares, with the hope that she will be able to see her late father again.
 
This is a well done live action adaptation of the Sunday comic strip series Little Nemo in Slumberland by Winsor McCay.  Both Jason & Marlow do an exceptional job of pulling you into this dream world filled with wondrous magic and eye popping spectacle. 
 
Not to mention it checks all the four "F's" - Fantasy Fun For Family.
 
FUN FACT:  "Little Nemo" was made into an animated feature in 1989.  The character of Flip in that earlier film adaptation was voiced by Mickey Rooney.
