The story of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing and the aftermath, which includes the city-wide manhunt to find the terrorists responsible.
 
This is a highly emotional film that was done extremely well.  Berg doesn't hold back from showing you what actually happened on that awful day and because of that, the movie connects with you on multiple levels.  This is a tragic story that does need to be remembered and this movie is a dedication to the fact that love will ALWAYS conquer over evil.
 
FUN FACT:  Unlike in his previous collaborations with Peter Berg, Mark Wahlberg's character in this film, Tommy Saunders, is a fictional character created for the film. He's a composite of many Boston cops who worked the marathon, and aided in the manhunt following the bombing.
