Near Dark

A small-town farmer's son reluctantly joins a traveling group of vampires after he is bitten by a beautiful drifter.

Normally in movies vampires are shown to be sexy, well polished and cultured due to their continuous time on Earth, but not this one.  This one is probably the grungiest & dirtiest vampire film you'll ever seen, which is one of the reasons why it's become a cult classic.

FUN FACT:  Unusual for a vampire movie, the word "vampire" is never mentioned.
