FUN FACT:  At Raiden's temple, Kano tries to steal an amulet. That amulet belongs to the Elder God Shinnok.  Another artifact seen is a blue steel fan. That fan is the personal weapon of Mortal Kombat warrior Kitana, Mileena's twin sibling.  The wall of information showcases two items referring to Mortal Kombat fighters.  The first is a picture of a Native American referring to the Native American fighter Nightwolf and the second is a picture of an Aztec statue, who resembles the Aztec fighter Kotal Kahn.
