FUN FACT:  In the beginning of the film, the movie that Corey and Jeremy are watching is John Carpenter's The Thing (1982), a clear reference to the original where Laurie and Tommy were watching the original The Thing from Another World (1951) and also a reference to Carpenter who directed both the original Halloween as well as The Thing (1982).
