The sequel is set in the years following the initial deadly home invasion, where Norman Nordstrom lives in quiet solace until his past sins catch up to him.
 
This is a great sequel and could actually be its own stand alone movie.  It has just as much gore, suspense and story twists as the first one did.  
 
FUN FACT:  Although Stephen Lang is known as 'The Blind Man' in both films, the character's real name is Norman Nordstrom.
