The limited drama series is a gripping, character-driven thriller based on the 2012 New York Times best selling novel of the same name by William Landay. An assistant DA's world is shattered when his beloved son gets charged with murder.
 
Everything about this Mini-Series is terrific, except for the ending.  They really dropped the ball and it's a shame.  If only they had stuck to the book and not changed anything, then I think the show would've gotten better reviews...especially from me.
 
FUN FACT:  Chris Evans and Jaeden Martell play father and son in this project. They previously appeared together in Playing It Cool (2014), playing the same character at different ages, and in Knives Out (2019) playing cousins.
