A robbery homicide investigation triggers a series of events that will cause a corrupt LAPD officer to question his tactics.
 
All in all this film is pretty good, but over time it has gotten lost in the shuffle of all the other corrupt cop movies.
 
FUN FACT:  Ron Shelton had originally written his directorial debut, Bull Durham (1988), for Kurt Russell over a decade earlier, but Orion wanted Kevin Costner for the role.
