Thirty years after their popular television show ended, chipmunks Chip and Dale live very different lives. When a cast member from the original series mysteriously disappears, the pair must reunite to save their friend.
 
I loved this movie.  It felt like I was watching a sequel to Who Framed Roger Rabbit? (1988).  Not only is this movie super silly for kids, but it has loads of easter eggs for adults and checks all the four "F's" - Fantasy Fun For Family.
 
FUN FACT:  Corey Burton, one of the voice actors of the original Rescue Rangers, briefly reprises both of his roles from Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers (1988) for this film and Tress MacNeille reprises the role of Gadget for the first time since the TV series ended in 1990.
