FUN FACT:  Thandiwe Newton has officially reverted back to the original Zimbabwean spelling of her first name.  Newton's name has been misspelled as "Thandie" ever since her first role in the film Flirting (1991). The correct spelling, Thandiwe, pronounced "tan-Dee-way" which means "beloved" in Shona, is one of the most widely spoken languages of Zimbabwe.
